About Michael

Was it Kierkegaard or Dick Van Patten who said, ''If you label me, you negate me.'' I call people amigo, bromigo, broseph, amigo, and brojangles a lot. It's a problem... I know. I also fight gangs for local charities and stuff like that, and I have a strong affinity for the fist bump as a primary means of greeting people. When I'm not doing those things, I'm busy trying to balance my efforts to be a good husband & dad, a man of God, a professional fundraiser, a friend, an amateur writer, an avid consumer of books and music, and defender of all things awesome. 1. Disagree. I think when a guy takes care of his hands, it says to his woman “I’d like holding hands with me to be a pleasant experience for you, not one in which you are attacked by my hangnails.”

Not saying it has to be a manicure, but I like guys with trimmed, clean nails and a general sense of well-kempt-ness about their hands.

And hitting your thumb with a hammer doesn’t make you manly. It means you have bad aim. 😀

I too have no problem with a man taking care of his hands… I just prefer he do it himself with clippers instead of going to a professional.
